2006 Tift County Blue Devils To Host Passing League

          TIFTON – The Tift County Blue Devils varsity football team will host some of the best programs in the Southeast Saturday in the first ever Tift County 7 on 7 Passing League Tournament.

            Among the schools scheduled to attend are national powers Nease High (Fla.), Hoover High (Ala.) and Ribault High (Fla.).  Among the teams from Georgia set to compete are Charlton County, Turner County and Irwin County.

            The event will begin at noon at the practice fields at the Tift County Field House.  After the preliminary rounds, the playoffs and the finals will be held at Brodie Field.

            There is not charge for the event and the public is invited to attend.
